From the Band:

These tunes were never meant to be heard by anyone outside the band. They are forgotten experiments, works in progress. So many man hours were spent by record company employees to ensure they never made it onto record and the people who played them would be rightfully shunned in a country obsessed by the songs of Tommy Steele and other tuppenny thruppeny cockney geezers. Maybe without the pandemic these recordings would have remained in a box in a web-blown attic. Maybe they should. As it is, the downtime prompted some digging in the literal vaults and this turned into a quest to log it all almost 30 years later. The archives, from cassette and DAT tape (digitised by Sci-fi Steven) are growing on bandcamp, and we are delighted that listeners are rediscovering these sounds in a new digital format. I'm really happy that we can release a cool lathe-cut single with some choice cuts from the archives. These lost recordings have never been released before and have only been heard by a handful of people since the last century. I hope people like them.
