kid_a_lf This record is a rare gem. I first heard of Chore through Muchmusic. " The Hitchhiker" came on and I was blown away. I loved The Coastline Fire on first listen. It has everything a good rock album should have. Great driving parts, melody, harmony, dynamics, heavy, soft....Why this band didn't become huge is beyond me.
They are up there with my favourite Canadian bands. The first gig I saw them play was opening for Poison the Well. I bought a Chore hoodie that I wore until it fell apart. Any more
of those hoodies stored anywhere? If so i'd like two in XL haha A friend who worked at Much asked me about any cool bands she should interview, I said yeah....Chore! Don't know if it panned out.
Anyways great fuckin' record, would love to hear what you guys would come up with if you got back together. Heard those bonus tracks years ago, great tunes!
I'll check out the new bands you guys play in as well. Best of luck! Favorite track: Dog In The Manger.
